Applications are invited from the candidates
for all categories (including Non-subsidized) for admission to the following
undergraduate courses:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- a) FSc (Pre-engineering) or its equivalent examination
passed up to annual examination 2005 with a minimum of 50% marks, excluding
NCC, Hafiz-e-Quran marks, where applicable.
- b) Diploma in relevant technology passed from the
any Board of Technical Education (for seats reserved for the diploma
holders).
- c) . Prospectus Including Application Forms shall
be available at a cost of Rs.500/- per copy on all the working days
with effect from 29th August 2005:
The prospectus can also be obtained by post, sending bank draft of Rs.500/-
issued by any branch of Habib Bank Ltd. in favor of the Treasurer, Gandhara
engineering College payable at Habib Bank Ltd. Branch Pesawar. Cheques
are not acceptable.
3. Starting date for receipt of applications 29th August 2005
4. Last date for receipt of applications 15th September 2005
5. The application may be submitted by hand or by post:
By Hand: in the Admission Office
(Civil Engineering Block), Gandhara engineering College on all working
days (Monday through Saturday) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (up to 4:00
p.m. on the last day).
By Post: to the Convener, Admission Committee under Registered A.D. cover.
Notes:
1. The admission form can also be downloaded from the official website
of the University i.e. www.gist.edu.pk. In such case the detailed instructions
regarding submission of form etc. are also available at the website.
2. The applications received after 4:00 p.m. on the last day shall not
be entertained, irrespective of the date and mode of their dispatch.
3. Incomplete applications shall not be entertained.
